Danny Savage emerged in 2020 and is the stage name of Brian Vastine. The name was given to him by the band Eggy as part of their 'Choose Your Own Eggventure' promotion during Covid. He plays solo and with many different talented bands and musicians, exploring many genres of music covers, traditional, and original tunes. He jokingly states that he plays modern Yankee Clawhammer banjo. He is a mostly self taught player with some help from the talented Russell Gottlieb of NJ, a talented 3 finger banjo player in NJ. Brian lives in central NH and is a returning performer to music festivals such as Steve Stock and the Stone Jack Ball in Maine and plays many NH music venues and farmers markets locally.
